about us

A black filing cabinet with labeled sections for comic book categories, including 'Old comics,' 'Batman,' and 'independent.' Stacks of comic books and graphic novels are placed on top. Books are visible in the background.

Terminal City Collectibles is a Vancouver, BC comic shop and collectibles store — yes, we know “Terminal City” is also Vancouver’s old nickname, a Vertigo comic series, and a long-defunct local magazine. We’re none of those. We’re the one selling graded comics, back issues, and previously-owned movies out of Vancouver.

We began as a way to reduce the size of a comic book collection that sat untouched in a basement for 30 years. After a while, we realized we loved selling and sharing physical media enough to turn it into a real operation. This site is our store — CGC graded comics, back issues, new arrivals, movies on Blu-ray and DVD, some larger-ticket collectibles, merch, and a blog.

We offer reasonable shipping across Canada and the US, and free local pickup in Vancouver. Contact us for details.

We also have a couple of YouTube channels, one for movie fans and the other for comic nerds.

Thanks for visiting and keep in touch!

Collecting tip: don't tape that tear. Tape yellows, dries out and leaves residue that's hard to undo, and it can hurt the grade. Leave it, bag and board it, and ask a pro before attempting a fix. Ever bought a book with tape on it? #comics #Vancouver
